Terms & Conditions and Customer Policies

Welcome to Lawrence Atelier. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions and Policies. Please read these carefully before making a purchase. These terms exist to protect both our customers and our brand, and to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all.
1. General Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Lawrence Atelier, whether online, in person, or via social media. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full.
We reserve the right to update or amend these policies at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication and will apply to orders placed after that date.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Partial Refunds
We operate a partial refund policy. This means that in eligible circumstances, a partial refund may be issued rather than a full refund. The refund amount will be determined at our discretion, taking into account:
• The condition of the item upon return
• Whether the original packaging is intact and undamaged
• Any handling, restocking, or processing fees incurred
• The reason for the return request
Partial refunds will only be considered if a return request is made within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date. Requests made outside this window will not be eligible for any refund.
2.2 Opened or Used Items - No Refund
Important: If the product packaging has been opened or if the item has been worn or used in any way, you are NOT eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Due to the nature of jewellery as a personal and hygiene-sensitive product, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds once:
• The original sealed packaging has been opened
• The item has been worn, tried on, or used
• Tags, labels, or protective seals have been removed
• The item has been resized, altered, or modified in any way
This policy is strictly enforced to protect the health, safety, and integrity of our products for all customers. We encourage all customers to review their order carefully before opening packaging.
3. Warranty Policy
3.1 Warranty Coverage
Lawrence Atelier offers a limited warranty on our jewellery pieces against manufacturing defects. This warranty is valid from the original date of purchase and is non-transferable.
3.2 Reselling - Warranty Void
Important: Any attempt to resell, transfer, or list a Lawrence Atelier product for commercial resale will immediately and permanently void the warranty. No refund will be available once a warranty has been voided.
Our products are sold exclusively for personal use. The warranty and any associated refund or exchange rights are immediately voided if:
• The item is resold, gifted commercially, or listed for sale on any platform (including but not limited to eBay, Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, or similar)
• The item changes ownership from the original purchaser
• The item is used for commercial purposes, promotional use, or photoshoots without prior written permission from Lawrence Atelier
• Evidence of resale activity is identified at any stage
If we discover that a product has been or is being resold, we reserve the right to:
• Void all warranty and refund rights with immediate effect
• Decline any return, exchange, or refund request related to that item
• Take further action as deemed necessary to protect the integrity of our brand
4. Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered at our discretion for items that are unused, in their original sealed packaging, and returned within 14 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for all return postage costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a partial refund or store credit may be offered instead.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will review each case individually and may offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or store credit at our discretion.
We are not liable for damage caused by general wear and tear, improper care, exposure to chemicals or water, or accidental damage after delivery.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the item has not yet been dispatched. After this window, cancellations will not be accepted and the standard refund and return policy will apply.
Custom or personalised orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, as these items are made specifically to your specifications and cannot be resold.
7. How to Request a Refund or Return

• Your full name and order number
• The reason for your return or refund request
• Clear photographs of the item and packaging (unopened where applicable)
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 3–5 working days. Please do not return any item without prior written approval, as unauthorised returns will not be accepted or refunded.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lawrence Atelier’s liability is limited to the original purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the purchase or use of our products.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
